The Technical Officer (Traffic Operations) will work within the Engineering Services Department providing assistance with Council's traffic and transport activities.

You will provide technical support and guidance with regards to traffic operations, road use management and road safety activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Council's transport network for residents and business owners in Ipswich.

The successful applicant will have experience in technical investigations, road design and/or road safety, together with skills in the preparation and analysis of reports. 

Recent engineering graduates or professionals who have experience in a local government compliance field are also encouraged to apply.

A salary is offered in the range of $52,353 to $65,991 per annum, (negotiable subject to skills and experience), plus a Council contribution to superannuation of up to 12%.
