CENTENARY HWY EXTENSION Congratulations to the State Government on the opening of the Centenary Highway Extension from Springfield to Yamanto. The next main piece of infrastructure required is the rail from Richlands to Springfield Central. Believe it or not the State Government have still not committed to a station at Springfield Lakes to be constructed in the initial construction. If you agree that a station at Springfield Lakes should be constructed from day one can I encourage you to write or email the Transport Minister on the below details. Hon. Rachel Nolan MP Minister for Transport GPO Box 2644 BRISBANE QLD 4001 E: transport@ministerial.qlg.gov.au
CONSTRUCTION OF OLD LOGAN ROAD TO THE CENTENARY HIGHWAY I believe connecting Old Logan Road onto the Centenary Highway with a Brisbane bound merge lane will help alleviate the volume of traffic that heads north along Old Logan Road. Given that the new design of the Logan Motorway and Ipswich Motorway intersection does not allow traffic from Old Logan Road direct access to the Brisbane bound Lanes of the Ipswich Motorway I believe direct access onto the Centenary Highway should be provided. If you agree with me please help by writing to the Main Roads Minister on the below details: Hon. Craig Wallace MP Minister for Main Roads PO Box 15456 BRISBANE QLD 4001 E: mainroads@ministerial.qld.gov.au
SPRINGFIELD CENTRAL PARKLAND Work is well underway on the $30 million Springfield Central Parkland. To inspect at the progress you can view from the Paul Pisasale Bridge off Sinnathamby Boulevard or the bridge as you enter Orion from Springfield Greenbank Arterial or John Nugent Way Bride between Orion Town Centre and Education City. My passion has been to use the clever use of lights to transform Springfield Central Parkland at night, having viewed the proposed lighting for the park you will be impressed. This will be a great park for the whole family.
