Councillor Pahlke represents the Council's largest geographical area taking in over 900 sq. kms (60%) of the new city. The rural based Division 10 takes in the townships and communities of interest of Rosewood, Amberley, Ashwell, Calvert, Churchill, Ebenezer, Ironbark, Jeebropilly, Lanefield, Limestone Ridges, Lower Mt Walker, Mt Forbes, Mt Marrow, Mt Mort, Purga, Tallegalla, The Bluff, Woolshed, Yamanto, Walloon/Thagoona, Grandchester, Marburg, Harrisville, Haigslea, Mutdapilly, Willowbank, Peak Crossing and Mt Walker West. He had 25 years experience with Australia Post prior to his decision to follow Council duties full time in 1994. His managerial experience included being Postal Manager at Inala, Rosewood and Ipswich.
