Trevor was elected to Council in July 1998, at the Division Four By-election.

He is one of Ipswich's most prominent businessmen and an avid community worker.

His current Division encompasses Booval, North Booval, Silkstone, Bundamba, Ebbw Vale, Dinmore, part of Riverview and Blackstone.

Being involved in numerous community groups has produced a strong community spirit within Trevor.

He was a member of the Rotary Club of Booval for a number of years, and in 1996, was awarded Rotary's highest award for community service - a Paul Harris Fellowship.

He supports many other groups including local schools, Ipswich Hospice and sporting organisations.
