Changed Traffic Conditions

Over the next few weeks the following construction works are continuing or are scheduled for commencement:  

Meier Road, Camira

Construction of kerb and channel from Hilton Drive to culvert crossing on western side only is continuing.

Augusta Parkway, Bellbird Park

Duplication of Augusta Parkway from Springfield to Bellbird Park is continuing. The Centenary Highway offramp connection to Augusta Parkway became operational on 17 September 2009.

Jones Road, Bellbird Park

Duplication of Jones Road from Augusta Parkway to Redbank Plains Road is continuing.  Work also includes signalisation at Jones Road/Augusta Parkway intersection and rework of the traffic signals at Keidges Road/Redbank Plains Road intersection. The expected completion is late October.

Phillip Street, Redbank Plains

Construction of kerb, channel and drainage in Phillips Street for 125 metres from the intersection of Vicki Street is continuing.

John Street, Bundamba

Construction of kerb and channel from Naomai Street to James Street is continuing.

Redbank Plains Road, New Chum

Realignment of the existing road, east of the Cunningham Highway. Construction is continuing with completion November 2009. Work will include the construction of a two lane arterial road on a new alignment which incorporates cycle lanes, improved lights and landscaping.

Barkell Street, North Ipswich

Construction of kerb and channel from Pine Mountain Road to end is continuing.

Cushing Street, North Ipswich

Construction of kerb and channel in Cushing and Hall Street is continuing.

Waterworks Road, North Ipswich

Resurfacing of road at Waterworks Road between Pine Mountain Road intersection and Holmes Street has commenced.

Whitehill Rd/Cascade Street, Raceview

Installation of traffic signals  on the intersection of Whitehill Road and Cascade Street is continuing.

Bremer Street, Churchill

Drainage works nearing completion at eastern end to Albert Street, kerb and channel associated works including Pitt Street is continuing .

Mill Street, Goodna

Rehabilitation of culvert between O'Shea Street and School Street has commenced.

CONCRETE FOOTPATHS

Work has commenced, or will commence shortly, on construction of footpaths in the following streets:

Glen Brae Street, Redbank Plains

Construction of concrete footpath from Knight Street to Frawley Drive is continuing.

Alexandra Street, Booval

Construction of concrete footpath from Bridge Street to Wattle Street is continuing.

Cedar Road, Redbank Plains

Construction of concrete footpath from Willow Road to Alawoona Street, Redbank Plains is continuing.
