Mobility Scooter Safety, Awareness and Education Day

In response to much of the negative media exposure given to mobility scooter drivers within the past year, Walk on Wheels Ipswich are proud to be hosting a “Mobility Scooter Safety, Awareness and Education Day” to be held in Ipswich on Friday 24th August 2012 from 10am-2pm in the Coral Sea Room at Ipswich RSL Services Club located at 5a Lowry St, North Ipswich. Along with guest speakers from Qld Transport, Qld Rail, Translink, Qld Police and the RACQ, we will be hosting a series of short yet informative seminars throughout the day and a traffic-free obstacle course will be available for attendees to test their driving skills in a safe and controlled environment. Complimentary refreshments will be provided on the day.
