Watch this SpaceExcitement Building in the Mall
The gorgeous posters only hint at something more to come "Watch this Space!" they proclaim and now the wait is nearly over.
As of Saturday 12 April a dynamic and engaging set of shopfront art installations will fill these four shops on the mall, complementing our local retailers, to stimulate and interest the diverse audiences of Ipswich. A range of artworks and styles are being selected from the fantastic response to the project's call for submissions.
Watch this space indeed - you won't be able to take your eyes off it!
Installations now on display!
Take a stroll in the Ipswich City Square Mall and view these exiciting works of art from April 14 as they begin to emerge to the delight of residents and visitors. Four artists have created a series of fascinating environments. Continue to watch this space for information on new installations in Ipswich Central.
Two of a number of upcoming school exhibits were installed at the end of April and will be on display until June 3, 2008. These are from students of Laidley State High and Rosewood State High, and are located within the Ipswich City Square complex in the space previously occupied by Telstra. Take the time to visit these creative installations.

To enter write the Watch this Space artwork shop number, your name, post code and contact phone numberon the back of a shopping docket ofany purchase made in Ipswich Central. Entry dockets must be placed into the official barrel, located at the Ipswich City Council Customer Service Centre, Shop 101, Ipswich City Square. before the entry closing time - no responsibility will be accepted for late or mis-directed entries.

Entry to the competition closes at 4:30pm, Friday, May 30, 2008, and all valid entries must be presented before this time to be eligible to enter the draw during the Competition Period:

All members of the general public are welcome to enter this prize draw other than owners, operators and immediate families of the stores within Ipswich Central including the promoters, their associated agencies and immediate families.

The draw will take place on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 3:00pm. Only valid entries will be accepted. The draw will be random and is not based on skill in any way. The winner will not need to be present on the day and will be notified by telephone.

Limit of one prize only per winner/entrant.

Under age entries will be accepted, but prizes will be awarded on behalf of the winners to a parent or guardian.

In the event an entry, when drawn, does not contain the correct components of an entry coupon together with complete and legible entrant's details and correct answer, that entry will be disregarded and another entry drawn, until such time as the official event organizer has drawn one correct entry.
