School Exhibits

Two of a number of upcoming school exhibits were installed at the end of April and will be on display until June 3, 2008. These are from students of Laidley State Hire and Rosewood State High, and are located within the Ipswich City Square complex in the space previously occupied by Telstra. Take the time to visit these creative installations.

Laidley State High School

2008
Installation

Students from Laidley State High School have created a mock bedroom out of ‘artifurniture'. The students have incorporated imagery and objects reflective of their own identities. The theme is personal identity, however when the individual works are grouped together they form a larger entity - the bedroom.

Rosewood State High School

2008
Mixed Media

Students from Rosewood State High School present a small selection of the artworks created in their Visual Art classes during 2008. These works showcase the students' creative talents in the areas of abstract representation, portraiture, still life and landscapes.
