IT'S official - Ipswich is now the most liveable mid-size city in the world, as awarded by an international panel made up of different cultures and ideas united by the single goal of making the environment where people live better.  

Ipswich awarded second prize in the prestigious Local Government Landcare Partnerships Award for its efforts in creating conservation partnerships over 10 years (2007)

EDAW and Ipswich City Council received certificate of Merit 'Urban Design-Plans and Ideas' for Ipswich River Heart (2006)

Ipswich named South East Queensland's Tidiest Town in 2004.
