Corporate Volunteering

Corporate VolunteeringIs your business interested in a corporate volunteering event such as National Tree Day? This is an easy and enjoyable way to make a positive contribution to the environment and Ipswich City Council would like to help you to make this idea a reality. Depending on the nature and location of your event, you can partner with us under the Adopt a Park or Habitat Connections programs.

Corporate Planting Days and Working Bees are a great way to establish community networks while your business demonstrates its sense of environmental responsibility. Reciprocal benefits such as physical exercise, social interaction, staff development, increased motivation, and a positive corporate image can be realised while the ecological integrity, amenity and aesthetics of our public land are improved for the whole community to enjoy.

Corporate volunteering events are an important part of our Adopt a Park or Habitat Connections programs, and we would love to hear from you if you are interested in being involved.

We would also love to hear your ideas! If you have an idea for an activity with potential benefits for the Ipswich environment and community, please let us know and we will explore it with you.

If direct involvement is not suited to your business, we welcome and value offers of corporate philanthropy. Council is skilled at the marketing and management of special environmental projects that ensure protection of the biodiversity of our natural areas. You will be surprised at the competitive advantage that can be attained by improving your corporate reputation, through the demonstration of your business's green credentials.
