Plumbing and Drainage

A plumbing approval is required for all new plumbing and drainage work or alterations/additions to existing infrastructure. Plumbing work can only be undertaken by a licensed plumber/drainer.

Existing Drainage Plans

You can request a copy of an existing drainage plan for a property by contacting Council on (07) 3810 6130 or at the Planning & Development Customer Service Counter located at Level 1, 45 Roderick Street, Ipswich.

Application forms for all types of development are available from the Department of Infrastructure and Planning.

To book a plumbing inspection, call (07) 3810 6130.

For plumbing enquiries, contact Council during the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
