Ipswich City CouncilWasteCommunity Group SpeakerThe Ipswich Waste Services Environmental Education Officer is available as a guest speaker for community groups such as Rotary, Lions, Zonta and other special interest groups. Ipswich Waste Services is currently undertaking a broad-based community education campaign to encourage waste minimisation practices and wider community participation in the recycling program. The 20-45 minute presentation explains why we need to reduce waste and gives a brief overview of more sustainable disposal alternatives such as Reducing, Reusing, Recycling and Composting. It aims to encourage involvement in a practical way, and also highlights the support available through Ipswich Waste Services. The Environmental Education Officer can present an informative and practical guide to waste minimisation through PowerPoint presentations, incorporating a fun and 'hands-on' approach that is relevant to all Ipswich residents. This education program is provided FREE of charge! To book the Environmental Education Officer to speak at an upcoming meeting or function, please fill in the online form.
