What Happening at Reverse Garbage?

Most of us have seen bins and skips full of materials that are too good to throw out .... timber, wire, fabrics, vinyl, out-moded stock. Reverse Garbage collects industrial discards and sells them at low cost to the community.  These items that are usually sent to landfill can be re-used by schools, artists, craftspeople, home handy people and the general community.  Re-use opportunities are limited only by imagination.  Reverse Garbage also run junk art and sustainability workshops in schools and at festivals.  To find out what's happening at Reverse Garbage now, check out their e-newsletter, Not J*nk Mail.

Announcing the Launch of a New National Recycling Program for Schools

It's called RED but it is in fact green.

RED stands for ‘Recycling + Education = the Difference', an Australian-developed primary school recycling education program that provides value for parents and schools, but also educates students about thinking and acting sustainably.
