Community Skills Development Workshops

Ipswich City Council is providing Skills Development Workshops to support committed individuals to enhance their skills both for personal benefit and that of their project or organisation's outcomes.  It is also hoped that participation in the workshops will assist in strengthening local community networks.

There are a limited number of places per workshop available for interested community members within Ipswich.  We are seeking people who are active in the sectors of either environment, youth, sport and recreation, cultural or community development. 

All workshops will be held at the Ipswich Civic Centre, cnr Limestone and Nicholas Streets, Ipswich from 9.00 am - 3.00 pm. Refreshments will be provided.

Grant Writing Workshop

Wednesday 30 May

• From concept to a project development
• Background to sources of grant availability
• Developing a grant template
• Applying the template to a submission
• Submitting the grant - Steps to take pre and post submission
• Winning/Losing - what to do in each case

Project Planning, Evaluation & Reporting

Wednesday 20 June

• Project and scoping definition
• Allocating appropriate resources
• Keeping the project on track
• Risk Management
• Reporting and evaluation

Places are limited and Registration is essential (see form below).

Cost is $25 (gst inclusive) per workshop payable in advance. Payment can be made by Credit Card online at http://www.discoveripswich.com.au/accom_result1/skills-development-workshops/ or we can post an Invoice to you.
