Community Response Grants

Community Response Grants provide funding to enable Council to respond to annual appeals and crisis events within the community.

If you are considering applying for a Community Response Grant, these are the details that you need to include in your written request;

Date of appeal/event.
Clear contact details of a contact person for enquiries.
Australian Business Number (ABN) should also be included and in the case of groups not registered for GST, a Withholding Tax Exemption Declaration form (available from Ipswich City Council) should be included with your request.
details of Public Liability Insurance.

If your grant request is successful, you will be required to provide a Tax Invoice prior to the release of grant payment.
