Community Response Grants

Community Response Grants provide funding to enable Council to respond to annual appeals and crisis events within the community.

If you are considering applying for a Community Response Grant, these are the details that you need to include in your written request;

  • Date of appeal/event.
  • Clear contact details of a contact person for enquiries.
  • Australian Business Number (ABN) should also be included and in the case of groups not registered for GST, a Withholding Tax Exemption Declaration form (available from Ipswich City Council) should be included with your request.
  • details of Public Liability Insurance.

If your grant request is successful, you will be required to provide a Tax Invoice prior to the release of grant payment.
