Sara Storer Makes Return Visit

Acclaimed Australian country music singer Sara Storer returns to Ipswich this month as part of her latest concert tour.

At the 2004 Tamworth country music festival, Sara took home a record seven Golden Guitars for her second album Beautiful Circle. The album was a hit with fans, industry insiders and critics alike. She has since gone from strength to strength, winning more awards and a legion of fans across the country and beyond.

Her fourth album Silver Skies is filled with tales of lives and loves of those on the land, but there is a much broader musical palette that shows her to be a contemporary of Missy Higgins and The Waifs as much as her country comrades. Most impressively, Sara has moved forward without leaving anything behind.

Sunday 27 July - 7.30 pm
Adults $25, Conc. $23, Child $15

The Delltones Celebrate 50 Years

Join the celebration of Australia's own pop music of the 50s and 60s with the Delltones' BopaDooWop national 50th birthday tour on Tuesday 29 July.

Enjoy classic hits such as Gee, You're The Limit, Wonder, Get A Little Dirt On Your Hands, Come A Little Bit Closer and Hangin' Five. Featuring the famous voice of the one and only Peewee Wilson, The Delltones have charmed, enchanted and energised audiences since they stormed stadiums with Johnny O'Keefe in the late 50s.

For five decades this legendary outfit has played, celebrated and elevated rock 'n' roll - one of the few real constants in a frantically changing world. Audiences still scream, shout and go away singing the songs, dancing the steps, chanting the goofy chants and looking forward to coming back for another dose as soon as they can.

Tuesday 29 July - 7.30pm
