Drummer Delivers Percussion Sensation
Press play to see Grant in action Witness a percussion maestro in an event unlike anything you've seen before when renowned international musician Grant Collins performs on Thursday 4 September. In this one-night-only concert event, Grant will prove to all that his instrument of choice is as unique as his creative musical attributes. His one-of-a-kind custom drum set is the largest in the southern hemisphere. It takes his team two hours to assemble and consists of almost eighty pieces including twenty-six drums, thirty-four cymbals and eighteen foot pedals. Surrounded by this massive musical sculpture, Grant defies stereotypical drum set methodologies with his innovative and enthralling solo drum set compositions. He uses all four limbs both individually and as a collective to present amazing sound-scapes. A large projection screen shows the rear view of the instrument so audiences can be part of a 4D concert presentation. Grant's powerful and modern performances have captivated audiences, not only in Australia, but around the world. Don't miss your chance to witness the dynamic stage presence and multi-limbed techniques of this remarkable performer.
