Chairperson's Message

Cr Charlie Pisasale It's another jam-packed month of entertainment at Ipswich Civic Hall this March. As the weather starts to cool down, head inside and enjoy the warmth of the many fantastic events on offer as part of the 2009 Festival of Theatre.

I'd like to particularly encourage you to support our local performers in coming weeks. This month, the Orpheus Chorale presents its annual Celebrity Concert which is always a highlight of the local cultural calendar. Next month, it's the Cambrians' turn when they present their annual Showcase event which is sure to delight.

Also next month, the seemingly unending talents of the Ipswich Seniors Concert Group will again be on show with its latest offering, Ancient Roamin's. Penned by our very own Kev Hallewell, this will no doubt be yet another fun-filled concert event.

Support your local performance groups and enjoy all that the Festival of Theatre has to offer.
