With everything from Irish superstar Tommy Fleming and legendary Australian singer-songwriter Paul Kelly, to the hilarious Kitty Flanagan and the beautiful ballads of Troy Cassar-Daley, the choices are seemingly endless for Ipswich right now. For those who love dance and theatre, there's also something for you with upcoming performances from The Rhythms of Ireland and La Boite Theatre Company, while home-grown talent will be on show when the Miner Chords hosts the Parade of Champions. Comedy Festival assures laughter aplenty
Described as "effortlessly hilarious", Kitty Flanagan has done stand-up and sketch comedy just about everywhere, from clubs across Australia, the UK and Europe to stints on popular TV shows like Full Frontal. Joining Kitty in Ipswich will be fellow comedians Russell Kane, Asher Treleaven and Celia Pacquola, held together by the seamless hilarity of MC Dave Callan.

Irish rhythms take Civic Hall stage

Friday 29 May - 7.30pm Parade of Champions
Hosted by Ipswich's 'Miner Chords', over 20 barbershop quartets and eight choirs will compete during the day in front of interstate and international judges to win a place in the evening concert. The evening concert then presents the 'best of the best' in full flight. Featuring reigning champions The Blenders and the River City Clippers.
Saturday 30 May - 7.30pm Wes Carr
2008 Australian Idol winner Wes Carr and his electrifying five-piece band are bringing his songs to Ipswich. The heartfelt mid-tempo tales he wrote as a young man like East Coast, Love Is An Animal and The Way The World Looks, together with his platinum selling number one single You and the new single Feels Like Woah, will leave you crying for more. Coming in June - NoiseworksIconic Australian band Noiseworks will perform live in concert this June.
Since then, the band has extensively toured Australia and produced many more outstanding songs for its large following of fans across the country. Noiseworks' shows were always known to be some of the best that Australian live rock could nurture. Now it's your chance to see this iconic Aussie band live in concert.
