Chairperson's Message

Cr Charlie Pisasale There was a letter to the Editor in the QT recently talking about the wonderful shows on offer at the Ipswich Civic Centre.

"Who needs to travel to Brisbane for a great night out," the letter-writer said.

I agree with them wholeheartedly. The Ipswich Civic Centre has a wonderful line up of concerts, plays and musicals on offer. Halpern and Johnson, starring Australian acting greats Garry McDonald and Henri Szeps, is on next week, while international recording artist Toni Child will be in Ipswich in a matter of weeks.

Renowned comedy act Tripod has also just named Ipswich in their latest tour, and will have theatre patrons laughing hysterically on November 9.

Reading this e-newsletter you’ll see there are so many wonderful shows on offer at the Ipswich Civic Centre. I encourage you to support our local theatre and discover the fantastic entertainment in our own backyard. I look forward to seeing you at a show in the near future.
