Dog Registration

Every dog in the Ipswich area aged 3 months and over must be registered with Council.  The registration period runs from 1 July to 30 June each year.

You must let us know in writing within 14 days, if there is any change in details for your dog(s).

Phone 1300 309 270 any time of day and follow the prompts.  Please ensure you have your account, credit card and a pen ready to write your transaction (receipt) number that will be given at the end of the call.  Retain this number for future reference. Payment can be made using MasterCard, Bankcard or Visa.  Please quote your dogs' Reference No.

Please note that if you are paying for more than one dog you will need to pay the corresponding amount listed beside each dog as a seperate transation by quoting each dogs' Reference No.

Reduced Fees

Ipswich City Council offers reduced fees on registration for desexed dogs and pensioners.  Proof of desexing or your pension card is required if registering a dog for the first time or requesting a discount for the first time.  If mailing your payment a photocopy of the desexing certificate or a pension card is required.
