Ipswich City Centre Planning Scheme Amendment Package
Status: On Display from 8 October 2009 to 6 November 2009

The Queensland Government and Ipswich City Council have jointly prepared the Ipswich Regional Centre Strategy and Master Plan.  A key action from the strategy was the need for amendments to the Ipswich Planning Scheme to achieve the outcomes for the Ipswich City Centre as envisaged by the regional centre strategy.

The proposed planning scheme amendments are outlined in detail in the following documents:

Draft Key Koala Habitat Areas Map

In response to the proposed State regulatory mapping for koalas, Council has compiled a Draft Key Koala Habitat Areas Map for the Ipswich Local Government Area.
