Department of Communities

• The Ipswich recovery centre is located in the old Court House (cnr Limestone and East Sts) providing information and referral services to flood affected residents. 
The centre is open Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.  The Goodna Community Recovery Referral and Information Centre continues to operate at the following two locations:

• Max Employment, 21 Queen Street Goodna
  Monday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
  Wednesday to Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Goodna Rugby League Club, Brisbane Terrace Goodna
  Tuesday 12 noon - 4:00 pm

Insurance Ombudsman

To support the victims of natural disasters, the Financial Ombudsman Service has set up a dedicated hotline to provide help and information on financial hardship, insurance claims and other financial issues experienced as a result of extreme weather events.

• BSA and Master Builder's Assoc of Queensland are offering referral services.

Solar Hot Water Systeem Replacement Scheme

Enables flood affected residents, who lost their hot water system to replace with solar system using govt. rebates - Commonwealth Govt. $1,000, State Govt. $600. Pensioners, a further $400 from State Govt. may apply this towards installation cost.
