*NEW* Healthy Active IpswichIpswich City Council has recently been awarded funding from the Federal Government's National Partnership Agreement on Preventative Health "The Healthy Communities Initiative". Through this funding Council will have a Healthy Communities Coordinator who will deliver the Healthy Active Ipswich Project by mid 2013. The aim of the project is to: "To increase participation in physical activity and improve healthy eating amongst people predominantly not in the paid workforce in Ipswich" The following will be aimed at specific target groups in the community:
