Participating in regular physical activity can help people with chronic conditions (eg heart disease) and disabilities to better manage and improve their quality of life. There are a variety of sport and recreation opportunities in Ipswich especially designed with the needs of people with disabilities and chronic conditions in mind.

Stars Junior Softball Program

Stars Softball Club's junior softball program caters for children of all abilities.  Training sessions are available on Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm with games played on Saturdays.  The cost is usually free or at a very low cost with activity costs subsidised heavily by the club.  For more information contact Ron on 0450 390 452 or kalyb5@optusnet.com.au.

Ozcare MOZART Program

The MOZART program provides support and recreational activities for individuals with a disability between 18-65 years old in Ipswich and surrounding areas.  Activities include artistic, social, adventure and sporting activities and caters for a large number of interests.  For more information please contact MOZART on 3432 6031.
