Free info sessions for Ipswich job seekers

14 February 2017

Job seekers will benefit from two free information sessions to be hosted by Ipswich Libraries in coming weeks.

Get on the Job will look at the state of play in the local labour market and will help to uncover attendees’ most important employment assets.

Guest speaker Cameron Williams from Mylestones Employment will also offer advice for job seekers with a disability.

Ipswich Libraries spokesman Councillor David Pahlke said the sessions would highlight local business investment and employment opportunities.

“An increasing number of people want to live and work locally and the Ipswich community is certainly no exception,” he said.

“Cameron will explain what employers want, where to find the jobs and how to showcase your natural strengths.”

Get on the Job will be held at Redbank Plains Library from 10am to 11.30am on Thursday, 16 February and the Ipswich Central Library Barry Jones Auditorium from 10am to 11.30am on Thursday, 2 March.
