Goupong Park Masterplan

Goupong Park at Namatjira Drive, Collingwood Park is a key open space recreation facility for Ipswich and is due for an upgrade in the coming years. Goupong Park is bound by Goodna Creek to the east and is a wonderful park with plenty of open space, shade trees and recreational amenities such as pathways, playgrounds, shelters, barbeques, car parking and toilet facilities.

Project information

Ipswich City Council is master planning the future of Goupong Park to ensure it meets the recreation needs of the growing Ipswich community. To kick off the master planning process, Council is seeking community engagement to gain feedback to ensure the loved elements of Goupong Park are retained and to hear potential improvement suggestions to inform the further planning and works.

Project timeline

Responses will be included in a draft masterplan which will be released for community comment in late May, before the final masterplan is adopted by Council to form the basis of future works. The release of the final Goupong Park Masterplan is expected in late August.
