Shape Your Council - Divisional Boundary Review Survey

Ipswich, help shape your future council! Ipswich City Council would like to know how you want to be represented by your council in 2020 and beyond. We are calling for your input on the structure of the city's new divisional boundaries.

Divisional Models

The below discussion paper identifies three different divisional models for you to explore. Have a quick read of the summary version of each model and then dig into the more detailed background information and the FAQs to help you consider the different boundary models from your own perspective.

Have Your Say

Once you've read through the potential advantages and disadvantages of each model and formed an opinion on which you'd prefer, we invite you to fill out a short anonymous survey. The survey is part of a broader community consultation being held throughout March, the results of which will be summarised in a report prepared by council and presented to the Queensland State Government for consideration. While council isn’t the decision maker on the final model, we we want to ensure that the views and opinions of our valued community are properly communicated and considered to inform the most appropriate divisional structure for our city going forward.
You have until 12.00 pm on Sunday, 31 March to share your views and opinions.

For more information or to request a hard copy of the survey email or call  (07) 3810 6666.
