The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is preparing environmental impact statements (EIS) for their proposed Inland Rail Project – two sections are located within the Ipswich Local Government Area: Helidon to Calvert (H2C) and Calvert to Kagaru (C2K). The ARTC holds regular community consultations and information displays to inform development of the feasibility designs and the EIS studies. Upcoming community consultation sessions and information displays will be listed on this page as they become available and community members, organisations and businesses are invited to attend these sessions to obtain information and give feedback on the various sections and stages of the project.

Inland Rail Gatton Office

  • Inland Rail has opened a regional office in Gatton
  • The office is located in the mall at 47 North Street, Gatton (behind Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology - the mall entry can also be accessed from the IGA parking lot side of the building)
  • The office hours are 9.00 am - 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • You can visit and ask the Inland Rail team about the Helidon to Calvert and Calvert to Kagaru projects, or if you want to discuss the Inland Rail program.
