Not too hot, not too cold, a lovely time to get outdoors, even in the dark; check out the article on bushwalking in the dark for some evening inspiration. There’s plenty to do and see over the next few months, and even though it’s getting cooler, the fun is heating up with a variety of local, national and international environmental events to check out. Look out for the inspirational work by one of Ipswich’s most motivated volunteers, and if you’re keen to get involved, read on, there are more details ahead. It’s a good time of year to focus on your own backyard; you may look to set up a little garden patch or may have a big patch that needs some care prior to bushfire season. It’s never too early to be prepared. If you prefer to stay indoors in the cooler months, there are some cool crafty activities to try with the kids plus plenty of new ‘green’ titles at the Library to inspire you. All of that, and more, is revealed in the Autumn-Winter 2019 edition of Environment Matters. Want to receive your Environment Matters Magazine online?
