A new educational video, 'Open Doors. Act Now. Break the Cycle.' seeks to educate culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in Queensland about domestic and family violence. The video is available in eight languages: English, Arabic, Burmese, Farsi, Kirundi, Mandarin, Tamil and Vietnamese.
Developed by Logan District Police, the Open Doors initiative is supported by MultiLink Community Services Inc, the Queensland Police Service, Neighbourhood Watch Queensland, Access Community Services Ltd and the Queensland Government.
The Cultural Information Sessions are held to increase the knowledge, understanding and respect of the diverse multicultural community members residing in Ipswich.
