All participants who sign up to activities in the Ipswich City Council Active and Healthy Ipswich Program are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions as set out below:
Activities are undertaken by participants at the participant’s sole risk. The activities are provided by third parties, not Ipswich City Council (“Council”). In respect of each activity, participants’ legal relationship is with the third-party provider of that activity and all liability rests with the third-party providing the activity, not Council. Council takes no responsibility, and is not liable for, any damage, loss, costs, expense, liability, claims, demands, actions, proceedings, injury (including death) or dispute due to or arising out of, directly or indirectly, the actions or omissions (whether wilful, negligent or otherwise) of Council (including any officer or employee) or any participant (including yourself) or third-party provider. Information provided within the Active and Healthy Ipswich Calendar about events is also provided by third parties. Irrespective of any measures taken by Council to check that the information is accurate or complete, Council will not be held liable to any person in contract, tort (including, but without limitation, negligence) or otherwise if any information on this website is incomplete or inaccurate. It is recommended that you consult your doctor prior to embarking on a fitness program.
