Ipswich City Council runs free community clinics. Community Immunisation Clinics are held at key locations around Ipswich on a regular, scheduled basis. See clinic schedule for locations, times and dates.
You do not need to make an appointment to attend a clinic.
Please bring your Medicare card and child’s immunisation record book to record the vaccination.
If you do not have a record book, we can provide a vaccination card for you, however, it is preferable that all records be kept in the one place to ensure complete history is easily found or shown.
Catch up immunisations are offered to school students and any eligible person at any community clinics.
Vaccinations given at these clinics are per the National Immunisation Program Queensland. For information about the Program visit Queensland Health.
As of Tuesday 21st April, Ipswich City Council’s immunisation clinics will resume.
Immunisation will be operating from the NORTH Ipswich Reserve Corporate Centre (54 The Terrace, North Ipswich) every Tuesday 9.00am – 11.00am until Step 3 of COVIDSAFE Australia return to work plan.
Immunisation Clinics will operate on Tuesdays only at this time until Libraries fully reopen at Step 3 COVIDSAFE Australia and we can recommence our suspended regular advertised clinics. At this stage, all proceeding to plan it will be August.
