Haig Street Quarry Bushland Reserve

Description

This urban bushland gem is more than 20 hectares. The view from Tom Craik Lookout provides views of the Scenic Rim.

The site was in use as a gravel quarry until the 1950s, and became a conservation area in 1989. It is now preserved and maintained through council's Ipswich Enviroplan initiative.
