Sport and recreation clubs play a key role in keeping the community healthy and active.

Ipswich boasts an extensive network of sport and recreation facilities across the city. Together, these spaces support over 150 clubs and organisations and provide hundreds of active playing areas for the community to enjoy.

Council is committed to supporting clubs to ensure our sporting clubs are stronger and more sustainable. Councils Sport and Recreation Officers can assist with venues, resources, education, internal support and strategic planning.
