Welcome to Ipswich City Council’s resource recovery information hub for real estate agents and the Department of Housing. This page has been designed to provide clear, practical guidance you can share with tenants and new property owners to help them understand local resource recovery services.

We encourage all households to reduce waste going to landfill by rehousing, reusing, donating or selling items before going into the general waste bin. If a resident is moving out, or has items not allowed in their kerbside bins, there are also a number of options available to correctly and responsibly dispose of these items.
