Fees and Charges 2024-2025

Selected fees and charges for public health, food business and road regulation licences and associated services for 2024-2025 have been subject to early approval by Council. The approved fees are outlined in the register extract below:

All other fees and charges for 2024-2025 will be subject to Council consideration later in the financial year.

Fees and Charges 2023-2024

The following Register of Fees and Charges 2023-24 incorporates the Register of Cost Recovery Fees and is applicable to services effective from 1 July 2023.

Fees and Charges 2022-2023

The following Register of Fees and Charges 2022-23 incorporates the Register of Cost Recovery Fees and is applicable to services effective 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

Fees and Charges 2021-2022

Note: The Register of Fees and Charges 2021-22 incorporates the Register of Cost Recovery Fees and are effective 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022.

Flood Assistance (from February 2022 to 30 June 2023)

As part of councils Flood Assistance Package, selected fees will be subject to waivers or discounts for property owners, residents, business operators and community groups impacted by the flooding event of February 2022.

The fee concessions include:

  • waivers for non-commercial waste disposal charges immediately following the flooding event
  • pro-rata credits or refunds for sporting facility permit fees and field lighting
  • Health and Regulatory Services (Business Licensing) waivers and discounts
  • Selected Planning and Development waivers and discounts.

COVID-19 fee relief for 2021-2022

Council has approved fee waivers for footpath dining license applications and renewals for the period 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022, as an extension to the COVID-19 fee relief measures.

Fees and Charges 2020-2021

Extension to COVID-19 fee relief

Selected environmental health and community venue hire fees were subject to discounts or waivers during the period 1 July 2020 to 30 September 2020. Businesses, community organisations and individuals eligible for these additional discounts were contacted by council about their reduced or waived fees – there was no need to apply.

Council has now approved an extension to relief for selected fees for the period 1 October 2020 to 30 June 2021. Please refer to the document below for the approved listing:

Council has subsequently granted a full waiver for footpath dining license fees for the 2020-2021 financial year.

A temporary fee waiver is also in place for selected development application fees (Carrying out Building Work not associated with a Material Change of Use). Refunds or waivers will be provided for applications within the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Refer to the document below.
