Operational works in the Ripley Valley PDA is delivered in accordance with the Certification process as detailed on the Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) website. The Ipswich City Council Ripley Valley PDA Application/Lodgement Form (PDF, 342.3KB) outlines the mandatory information to be submitted for each type of lodgement/submission relevant to the various stages throughout the Certification process.
Ipswich City Council, as the MEDQ Delegate requires the submission and agreement of a ‘Deed Conditions Schedule’ prior to the submission of Certification Deed Polls for acceptance. The ‘Deed Conditions Schedule’ is a spreadsheet with the development conditions, identifies the parties to the certification process, and the conditions for which they are responsible for certification against.
Dual nominations of an individual to be acting as both the Certifier and Project Coordinator for a development is highly unlikely to be accepted in the Ripley Valley PDA. Consideration of a dual nomination would only occur for developments determined to be low risk by the MEDQ Delegate.
Where a request for the MEDQ Delegate to accept a Uncompleted Works Bond (UCWB) is to be requested, this should be submitted against the relevant Pre-Construction application numbers (‘PDAEE’ or ‘PDAEPC’ application reference numbers).
Plan Sealing applications are to be supported by a MEDQ Delegate On Maintenance Acceptance Letter. Where early plan sealing is proposed, the MEDQ Delegate’s Uncompleted Works Bond Acceptance Letter must be submitted with the Plan Sealing application. Plan Sealing applications submitted without either the On Maintenance Acceptance Letter or the Uncompleted Works Bond Acceptance Letter will either not be accepted or “not properly made” upon lodgement.
