Description

Colleges Crossing Recreation Reserve is a popular picnic and tourist destination on the Brisbane River at Chuwar near Ipswich.

Due to the recent flooding, the reserve is undergoing rehabilitation works with temporary partial access. The aim of the works is to return full access to the site with the objective to make it more resilient for the future.

The southern-most grassed area and walking tracks will be available during this interim to provide the community with open and recreational space.

Opening hours:

6.00 am - 6.00 pm daily, however opening hours of this area may change based on natural seasonal light, until such time as lighting installations can occur to ensure community safety.
