JULY TO SEPTEMBER RATES - EXTENDED DUE DATE
Rate Notices for the current July to September 2025 quarter were delayed due to an external printing issue. Electronic rate notices were delivered via e-Notices from Friday 25 July. Hard copy notices were posted on Friday 25 July with their delivery commencing from Monday 28 July.
The discount and due date for payment for the July – September of the 2025 rate notice has been extended until Thursday 28 August. This was approved by council to account for the printing delays, which resulted in customers receiving their rate notice one week later than planned.
It is not expected that this will change or impact future rate notice issue dates or discount and due dates for the remaining quarters of 2025-2026.
Quarterly direct debits will be debited from your nominated account on the new discount and due date for payment, Thursday 28 August. All other weekly, fortnightly and monthly direct debits will be processed according to their usual schedules.
For customers who have previously purchased a rate search that was issued prior to 31 July 2025, these searches will have the discount and due date for payment as 21 August 2025. For a rate search issued from 31 July 2025, these searches will have the amended discount and due date payment of 28 August 2025.
Customers are encouraged to contact their solicitors to ensure that appropriate property settlement adjustments are made that consider the amended discount and due date for payment.
