Ipswich City Council handed down its 2020-2021 Budget on Tuesday, 30 June 2020.
Each year Ipswich City Council adopts an Operational Plan which identifies activities that work toward achieving the goals, objectives and strategies outlined in the Corporate Plan. The Operational Plan also provides the framework for Council to prepare its Annual Budget.
The residents of Ipswich can be proud that they have spoken and Council has listened to their goals and aspirations for the city. The Corporate Plan 2017-2022 identifies the 5 year priorities established by the community and endorsed by Council.
Council has developed a city-wide three year capital works program for the 2020–2021 Budget and Long Term Financial Forecast.
Advance Ipswich 2015 builds on the programs and strategies in the previous i2020 and i2031 Community Plans and provides a renewed and contemporary focus for the future of the city. The Plan responds to the current and future changes in the city and the related opportunities and challenges.
Ipswich City Council's Annual Report 2019-2020 offers a snapshot of where we have been in the past 12 months and more importantly where we're heading in the years to come.
Ipswich City Council completed an external Governance Review in August 2017. With areas identified for improvement the review will allow council to continue to improve its processes to better serve the community of Ipswich.
The Indigenous Accord 2020-2025 is Ipswich City Council’s strategic framework for reconciliation and community governance with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and their communities.
