The following is for Private Certifiers who are looking to archive a Private Certifier Application (Decision Notice) with Ipswich City Council in accordance with Building Act 1975, section 86.
HOW TO LODGE ONLINE
The preferred method of lodgement is now online. To do this follow the instructions or watch the video below, then click the GET STARTED button.
New users will need to register online first and accept the terms and conditions. Registering for an account has a 2-business day turnaround time where users will receive a confirmation email once complete.
Registered users can accept the terms and conditions then sign in to start a new application process.
To lodge a new application:
- Hover over the Applications menu and select New Application
- Under Development Application Types select either Notice of Engagement or the appropriate Building Works Class
- No payment is required to lodge a Notice of Engagement, however payment is required to lodge the Building Works Class documents
- Please upload your documents using PDF format
