A Spooktacular Movie Night is set to trick or treat Ipswich families this Halloween eve as Dracula, Ericka and Van Helsing take centre stage in Tulmur Place.
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation will show on council’s newly installed mega LED screen on Saturday 30 October from 6:30pm, with free seating, food trucks, popcorn and the opportunity to arrive dressed in a scary costume.
Chair, Community, Culture, Arts and Sport Committee and Division 3 Councillor Andrew Fechner said council is committed to providing family-friendly events.
“If you’re looking for the spookiest night out with the family, this free Nicholas Street Precinct movie night on the newly installed 6m x 3m LED screen is not to be missed,” Cr Fechner said.
“This movie night is part of council’s commitment to providing family friendly events and facilities to our community and I encourage residents to dress up in their spookiest costumes and enjoy a night in Tulmur Place.”
Hotel Transylvania 3 takes viewers on cruise with a twist, as Dracula falls for the ships mysterious captain, Ericka, amidst Van Helsing’s attempts to spoil the monsters’ party.
Viewers are encouraged to arrive at 6pm for the 6:30pm start.
Free parking will be available on the night.
