Flinders Goolman Conservation Estate closed due to bushfire

The Mt Flinders Goolman Conservation Estate, including Flinders Plumb picnic area and Hardings Paddock picnic area, has been closed until further notice due to a bushfire.
Ipswich City Council advises that a temporary closure procedure has been enacted at the estate, with all camping and other bookings cancelled today.
Queensland Rural Fire Brigade has been on site since yesterday, monitoring the situation and back burning.
They advise the bushfire is in a controllable state and are monitoring weather conditions.
