SEAL Water Safety and Swim Program for Kids

The SEAL Water Safety and Swim Program for Kids is designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years to help them build water confidence and learn lifesaving skills while having fun.

Bookings for the October/November program are now open, the program consists of one 30 minute lesson each week for six consecutive weeks Wednesday 9, 16, 23, 30 October, 6, 13 November at Bundamba Swim & Gym Centre.

  • Babies Level 1 (6 months – 1 year) at 9.15 am or 9.45 am
  • Babies Level 2 (1–3 years) at 10.15 am or 10.45 am
  • Level 1 (3-4 years) at 11.15 am
  • Level 2 (4-5 years) at 11.45 am

Program terms and conditions

This program is a one off introductory program primarily for Ipswich residents. Priority is given to children who have not yet participated in this program. If your child has already participated in a SEAL Water Safety and Swim Program for Kids at any time in the past, if there are no available session times suitable for your child or if you reside outside of Ipswich, you are welcome to join the waitlist here and we will contact you if a space becomes available.

  • This program is offered under Ipswich City Council’s SEAL Pool Safety Program
  • Each lesson goes for 30 minutes, and attendance will be at the same time and day for six consecutive weeks
  • Bookings are essential as numbers are capped per session.
