Remarkable achievements from Ipswich sports stars from the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to the national schoolgirls rugby league competition will be celebrated in two civic events next week.

With a whole new program of free workshops, family entertainment and ideas for a cleaner, greener lifestyle, the Ipswich Sustainable Living Festival will be the place to be on Saturday 19 October.

Ipswich libraries have received glowing references from the community in council’s annual libraries survey with an overall satisfaction rating of 92 per cent.
