This place-based app uses smartphone technology and augmented reality to encourage children to get active, engaged and learning about the world around them.
Through interactive and geo-triggered or QR code challenges, children and families will become Nature Agents that connect with the environment around them and uncover the wonders of our world.

How to play
- Download the free Agents of Discovery app on your device from Google Play or the App Store before you visit the natural area.
- Open the app to find your nearest Mission, then visit the location to play. Once downloaded, the app does not require any data or WiFi to play.
- Start your Mission by following the map to find and uncover the nature challenges. Be sure to stay on the paths and keep and eye for hazards around you.

The Quest for Queens Park Icons, Ipswich
Location: Queens Park, Goleby Avenue, Ipswich
Mission type: GPS
The historic Queens Park is home to lots of interesting flora and fauna for you to discover. Take an easy stroll around Queens Park and unlock the Challenges along the way.
The Mission is updated regularly, and uses new locations and fresh games! Check the app for the current location. Some places you might find it include:

MAY 2025 - The Search for Enviroplan Gems at Denmark Hill
Location: Denmark Hill Conservation Reserve, Quarry Street, Ipswich
Mission type: QR Code
Explore this hidden bushland gem with a scavenger hunt for 10 QR codes around the playground area off Quarry Street. Each QR code unlocks a fun challenge that highlights the secrets of our natural environment.
Suitable for children with adult supervision. Mission takes less than 1 hour to play.
By completing this Mission during May 2025 you can enter a Competition to win a great prize! This is a special event as part of 2025 Experience Nature .

JUNE-JULY 2025 - The Search for Enviroplan Gems at Kholo Gardens

Enjoy 10 new challenges to play in June-July 2025! Explore this botanical garden beside the Brisbane River and learn more about the unique ecosystems in this special part of Ipswich.
You'll find the challenges in easily accessible areas from the beginning of the Coal Creek Walk (near the gardens entry), across the pond and overlooking the river. Simply walk around to unlock the challenges.

AUGUST 2025 - The Search for Enviroplan Gems at Haig Street Quarry
Location: Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve, High Street, Brassall

We have created a new Mission for you at this popular urban bushland reserve.
Follow the Willy Wagtail Circuit, between the Lookout and the Quarry Pond, to unlock Missions highlighting the secrets of our natural environment. (The Challenges can be completed in any order)

SEPTEMBER 2025 - The Search for Enviroplan Gems at White Rock - Spring Mountain
