Free kerbside collection commencing Rosewood and surrounds

06 January 2022

It’s time to clean out the spare room or under the house as Ipswich City Council’s free large item kerbside collection begins on 17 January 2022 for one week from Ashwell to Woolshed.

The Growth, Waste and Infrastructure Committee Chair Mayor Teresa Harding said council’s collection teams will be moving though each Ipswich suburb over the next 20 weeks passing about 86,603 households.

“This important collection service is kicking off in Rosewood and surrounds, ensuring residents are able to dispose of items that are too large for the wheely bin,” Mayor Harding said.

“I would encourage you to check the calendar on council’s website so you know when council will be coming to your suburb.”

Ipswich City Council 2021 kerbside collection schedule: Week 1 – beginning Monday 17 January.
