Ipswich City Council is committed to creating an Active City through the provision of sport, recreation, physical activity, active travel and nature based recreation opportunities to the Ipswich community. Due to the significant population growth that is occurring and will continue to occur across the region, there will be a greater demand placed on existing facilities, services and programs as well as the need to provide additional resources.
