We are grateful for Ipswich’s incredible generosity and desire to help support residents impacted by the floods.

Council has partnered with GIVIT to manage offers of goods or funds and match them to immediate needs in the community. 100% of funds received will be used to purchase essential items and services.

Please do not send unrequested donations to impacted areas, we need to ensure donations do not go to waste. Unrequested donations hinder recovery efforts and at this crucial time it’s important not to overwhelm charities on the ground or send items somewhere they are not needed, especially if we know they are crucially needed elsewhere. GIVIT captures all donations online, so you can see and give exactly what's needed, when and when it is needed.

Ipswich City Council respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners, the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul people of the Yugara/Yagara Language Group, as custodians of the land and waters we share. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, as the keepers of the traditions, customs, cultures and stories of proud peoples.
